OET student reviewing feedback and feeling relief after correction

OET Writing Correction Service

Who corrects my OET letter?

All corrections are performed by Dr Mariam (PhD in English) and our trained OET/IELTS writing team with extensive assessment experience. Our team has corrected over 11,000 letters since 2014. Every corrector is trained on the official OET assessment criteria developed by Cambridge Boxhill Language Assessment Trust.

How do I submit my writing task?

After booking you get your own letters page (the link is also in your welcome email). Paste or photograph the case notes and your letter: typed text, Word, PDF or a clear photo of a handwritten page. You can also email it, with the case notes, to [email protected] from the address you booked with. Typed letters get an instant AI score, and your teacher's correction comes back to the same page within 24, 48 or 72 hours depending on the turnaround you chose.

What is included in the correction?

Each correction includes: a fully corrected version of your letter, detailed feedback across all six official OET writing criteria (Purpose, Content, Conciseness & Clarity, Genre & Style, Organisation & Layout, Language), an estimated grade (A-E), and a personalised Action Plan identifying your specific areas for improvement.

What are the turnaround times?

We offer three speeds: 24 hours, 48 hours and 72 hours. The time starts when your letter reaches your teacher, and runs on the full clock.

What are your operating days and deadlines?

Our teachers correct from Friday 9:00 AM to Tuesday 9:00 PM Cairo time, one letter per student a day. You can send a letter at any time: one sent while we are closed (Tuesday 9 PM to Friday 9 AM) is accepted, joins the Friday morning queue, and you are told the exact time it reaches your teacher. A letter received by Tuesday 9 PM keeps its full 24, 48 or 72-hour promise.

What is OET and who accepts it?

The Occupational English Test (OET) is an English language test for healthcare professionals, developed in partnership with Cambridge Boxhill Language Assessment Trust. OET is recognised by healthcare regulators in the UK (NMC, GMC, GPhC), Australia (AHPRA), New Zealand, Ireland (NMBI), Singapore and the UAE. Grade B (350/500) is the standard benchmark for healthcare registration; the NMC accepts Grade C+ (300) in Writing, with Grade B in Listening, Reading and Speaking; for tests taken from 23 April 2026, AHPRA requires 350 in Listening and Writing and 360 in Reading and Speaking.

How many corrections do I need to pass OET writing?

Based on our data, most students benefit from 3-5 corrections. 97% of students who complete 3 or more corrections show measurable improvement in their writing scores. The first correction identifies your main areas for improvement, and subsequent corrections help you practice applying the feedback systematically.

Pricing and Payments

Are there any hidden fees?

No. The price you see is the price for the correction package. Local tax/VAT may be added at checkout, as required by law for digital services. All payments are securely processed by our Merchant of Record, Fungies Inc.

Do my correction credits expire?

Yes, all writing correction credits must be used within 180 days (approximately 6 months) from the date of purchase. Unused or expired credits are non-refundable.

What is your refund policy?

All sales are generally final due to the digital nature of the service. Refunds are only considered for duplicate payments or verified technical errors preventing access. Please see our full Refund Policy for details.

Free AI Tools & Limits

How often can I use the free AI tools?

Each free AI tool (OET Writing Checker, Case Note Generator, Writer's Block Helper) can be used once per day, per user. These tools complement our expert educator correction service — they can help with grammar and structure, but cannot assess clinical appropriateness or professional tone the way a human reviewer can.

When does the daily limit reset?

The limit resets at midnight (00:00) UTC time every day.

Why do I need to provide my email?

We ask for your email address once to unlock all free tools and to track your daily usage limit. This prevents abuse of the free service and allows us to send you helpful OET study tips (you can unsubscribe anytime).

Want an expert's eyes on your OET letters? Dr Mariam's OET writing correction service marks every letter against all six OET writing criteria and returns line-by-line corrections within 24–72 hours.
