Questions about the free course

Frequently asked questions

Is the course really free?+

Yes. Five lessons, one a day by email, with no card and no payment. The last lesson includes a letter that is marked on the six OET Writing criteria.

What do I need to start?+

Only an email address. Lesson 1 is sent at once. Open it from that email and the next lessons follow, one a day. You can also open the next lesson early from the lesson page.

Who marks the letter in lesson 5?+

The letter is marked by AI in about a minute. You get a mark for each of the six criteria, an estimated score out of 500 and the first thing to fix. It is practice feedback, not an official OET result.

Which professions is it for?+

Any OET profession. The lessons use examples from medicine, nursing, pharmacy, dentistry and physiotherapy, and the letter in lesson 5 is a referral that any of them can write.

What happens after the five lessons?+

Nothing is charged and nothing renews. If you want to continue, the OET Writing Pass Course has 14 lessons with a marked letter in each, in an edition for your profession, with the option of corrections by hand.
