Questions about the course
Frequently asked questions
How is the OET Listening course delivered?+
By email. Lesson 1 arrives as soon as you pay and a new lesson follows each day for 10 days. Each email links to your own lesson page, where the recording plays. No account or password is needed.
What are the recordings like?+
Each lesson has one original recording of about a minute and a half: a consultation, a workplace extract or part of a talk. They are made with clear computer-generated voices, two female and two male, and the full script is printed after the answers.
Does the course include full listening tests?+
No. Lessons use short recordings so one skill fits in one sitting. Full 42-question tests with about 30 minutes of recordings are sold separately as our OET Listening mock tests.
Is the course for my profession?+
Yes. The OET Listening sub-test is the same for all professions, so the course suits doctors, nurses, pharmacists, dentists, physiotherapists and others.
Can I go faster than one lesson a day?+
Yes. When you finish a lesson you can open the next one from the lesson page without waiting for the email.
