How to ask Adam a question, change your plan, take a practice quiz or improve a sentence, his daily limits, and how to send a question to Dr Mariam's team.

In short

Adam is our AI study assistant. He answers from our own lessons and guides and links the page he used.
Students can ask Adam to change their plan; nothing changes until they press Confirm. He also sets quizzes and improves one sentence.
Students get 60 questions a day. Free visitors get 5 a day once their email is confirmed. Up to 3 a day can go to Dr Mariam's team.

Steps

Sign in and open any course page, such as My courses or your progress page. Press the "Ask Adam" button.

Type your question (up to 2,000 characters), or press one of the suggested questions.

Read the answer. A number like [1] after a sentence links to the lesson or guide Adam used.

To change your plan, ask in your own words, for example "My exam moved to Friday 12 March 2027". Adam suggests the change. Press "Confirm" to apply it, or "No thanks". On WhatsApp or Telegram, reply YES.

If Adam cannot answer, press "Send to Dr Mariam's team", add an optional note and press "Send".

What Adam is

Adam is an AI study assistant. He answers from our own lessons and guides and numbers the sources he used. If our material does not cover a question he says so instead of guessing. For students he also knows your study plan and your marks.

Adam does not mark whole letters (that is the work of our expert educators), does not promise a grade or a pass, does not give regulator rulings and does not give medical advice. Read more on the Adam page.

What students can ask Adam to do

Change your plan: exam date, weekly study hours, profession, Writing target (A, B or C+), mark one of today's tasks done, move today's remaining tasks to tomorrow, or change how the daily plan arrives (WhatsApp, Telegram, email or off). Adam only suggests the change. Nothing changes until you press Confirm, or reply YES on WhatsApp or Telegram.
Weekly progress: ask "How am I doing this week?" for a summary of letters sent, lessons, mocks, speaking sessions and ticked tasks since Monday.
Practice quizzes: 5 multiple-choice questions on vocabulary, grammar, Reading Part A or the Writing criteria, built only from our material. The site marks your answers, not the AI. Students get 3 quizzes a day and free visitors 1.
One sentence at a time: Adam improves one sentence of up to 60 words and names the Writing criterion it helps. He does not rewrite or mark whole letters and never gives a score.
Help with the site: he can explain sign-in, sending a letter, mocks, Telegram and more, using our help centre.

Where to find him

On the course pages, in the chat panel opened by "Ask Adam". Your recent conversation is there when you open it again.
On WhatsApp and Telegram: any message that is not one of the commands goes to Adam. See WhatsApp messages and Telegram.
Free, on the Adam page, once your email is confirmed.

Limits

Students: 60 questions a day.
Free visitors: 5 questions a day, and the email must be confirmed. They get answers from free material only.
Sending a question to Dr Mariam's team: up to 3 a day from the same place, and the team replies by email. Students only.
Adam can also pause for the rest of the day when the day's allowance for answers is used. He tells you when that happens.

If Adam cannot answer, he points you to the team. A question typed on WhatsApp or Telegram can be sent to the team with HELP. See contact Dr Mariam's team.

Questions about this

How many questions can I ask Adam?+

Students can ask 60 a day on the course pages, WhatsApp and Telegram. Free visitors can ask 5 a day on the Adam page, after confirming their email address.

Can Adam mark my letter?+

No. Adam does not mark whole letters or give a score. He can improve one sentence at a time, up to 60 words. Letters are marked by our expert educators in the correction packs.

Can Adam change my study plan?+

Yes, for students. Adam suggests the change and nothing happens until you press Confirm, or reply YES on WhatsApp or Telegram.

Can Adam quiz me?+

Yes. He sets 5 multiple-choice questions built from our material. Students get 3 quizzes a day and free visitors 1. The site marks your answers.

What if Adam gets it wrong or cannot answer?+

He says when our material does not cover a question. Students can press "Send to Dr Mariam's team" under his answer, up to 3 times a day, and the team replies by email.

Is Adam official OET advice?+

No. Adam is practice help from an independent preparation service, based on our own lessons. He does not speak for OET, and he never promises a grade or a pass.
