Getting started

Your My courses page

What is on the My courses page: courses, letter packs, downloads, mock tests and speaking practice, and how to open each one.

In short

  • My courses is one page for everything you bought with one email address.
  • It shows your courses, letter packs, downloads, mock tests and speaking practice, each with a button to open it.
  • Courses that have run out move to an Ended list.

One page for everything you bought

Everything you buy with one email address appears on this page. It shows the email at the top. If your study plan is on, the Today card sits above the sections (see Today and your study plan), and a "See your progress" link opens your progress page.

The sections

  • Courses: each card shows how many lessons are done or letters written, how many lessons are open, the date it is open until, and your latest score out of 500 if you have one. The button reads "Open lesson" with the next lesson number, or "Review your lessons" once the course is finished.
  • Letter corrections: shows how many letters are left in the pack, how many are corrected, the turnaround and the date to use it by. The button reads "Send a letter", or "See your corrections" when none are left. See send a letter for correction.
  • Courses to start: courses included in a bundle. Press "Start this course" when you are ready, and its lessons then arrive one a day by email.
  • Downloads: PDFs marked with your email address, for your own use.
  • Mock tests: timed tests. Press "Open the tests". See Reading and Listening mock tests.
  • Speaking practice: role-plays with an AI patient, marked Beta. See AI Speaking practice.
  • Ended: purchases whose access has run out, with the date they ended.
  • WhatsApp: where you turn lesson and correction messages on or off. See WhatsApp messages.

If the page cannot find you

If you see "We could not find your page", open the link in an email we sent after you paid, such as a lesson or download email. If you cannot find one, write to [email protected] from the address you paid with.

Questions about this

Where is something I bought?+

Everything bought with one email address appears on the My courses page. If something is missing, check that you paid with the same address you signed in with. Otherwise write to [email protected].

Why is a course listed under Ended?+

Access lasts for a set time from the day you paid, and that time has run out. See the access length and refunds help page for the lengths and what to do next.

What does "Courses to start" mean?+

These courses are part of a bundle you bought. Press "Start this course" when you are ready. Its lessons then arrive one a day by email.

What does "Latest 345 of 500" mean?+

It is an estimate from the last marked letter in that course, out of 500. The page notes that Grade B starts at 350. It is not an official OET result.
